Newsletter Bringing the arts to communities worldwide |
|
Dear Friends and Supporters,
A season of thanks is upon us once again, and ajusticenetwork would like to say a big, hearty THANK YOU for all the support we've received this past year! We deeply appreciate our supporters who stand by us as we shape and reshape ourselves around our mission. As a supporter, you have helped us continue, "bringing the arts to communities worldwide." With 2009 coming to an end, we have some great accomplishments to reflect on involving all of ajn's programs:
~ The development and premier performance of our professional dance company, Splinter
~ The continuation and expansion of our Rotation classes and the growing network of teachers
We are also proud and excited to announce our very first
Fundraiser Party on 4.11.2010!
If you haven't yet had the chance to donate, we invite you to make a tax-exempt gift to ajusticenetwork! We are excited to continue serving local and worldwide communities by making the arts accessible to you! Our goal is to move into 2010 with our operating expenses covered and our budget in the black - Please help us to reach that goal! We are grateful to our fiscal sponsor, the Shunpike, for making it possible for us to operate as a 501 (c)(3).
To make a donation to ajusticenetwork or any of our programs, please visit: http://www.shunpike.org/give/ and click on the blue Donate button for Partner Artists (us!). Simply find our name (ajusticenetwork) in the list and enter the amount you'd like to donate!

New Dance Classes in 2010
Hip Hop / Breakdance
Sundays 2pm-3:30pm (Starting December 6th, 2009) |
|
Justice brings a mix of new-school, old-school, and a little in-between school to her hip hop classes - creating an environment that is inspiring, challenging and fun! Justice teaches the basics of breakdance, including conditioning, floor work, uprock, freezes, popping, and locking. She works all these styles into routines that are adaptable to beginner, intermediate and advanced dancers.
Contempo-jazz and ballet
Wednesdays 6:00pm-7:30pm
(Starting January 6th, 2010)
Discover the strength building beauty of ballet, the dynamic power of jazz and the grounding athletic qualities of modern dance in this hybrid dance class. Finn takes students on an adventure through the body, drawing on the connective tissue of several dance styles to give students a more justified understanding of their alignment, smart technique habits and the utilization of core strength.

JOIN THE ROTATION! |
Rotation is up and running, and we'd love to welcome more teachers into the mix! Our diverse network of teachers currently includes dance styles from Ballet and Modern to Hip Hop, Breakdance, and Bollywood!
Due to a large number of requests, we've decided to open up the classes to non-Rotation members! Only $8 per class for non-teachers! Check the online calendar for dates, times and class information: Rotation Calendar
If you are a dance teacher in the Seattle area, join the Rotation and receive dance classes for FREE!
Become part of a collective of professional dancers dedicated to using the arts for social change.
