The History of ajn
ajusticenetwork was born out of a supportive and inspiring community of artists, musicians, dancers, and non-profit sector organizations. In 2006, two Diversity Dance Workshop alumni, Justice Beitzel and Robin Campbell, began the process of realizing a shared, long-term dream: to create an organization that called on the plethora of resources both women have acquired over the last decade to effect positive social change in the world around us. These resources comprise artists representing a diverse array of disciplines as well as visionary non-profit organizations. Within such diversity, this rich network of artists and organizations shares the common goal of using the arts to bring social awareness and outreach to communities across the globe.
ajusticenetwork’s goal is to extend this network of like-minded people to reach an ever-expanding audience base and interconnect diverse people and artistic disciplines for the purpose of social change. Art is born out of our encounters with the world around us; landscapes, politics, people, conversations, emotions, and reactions, followed by reflection, arrangement and finally production. By facilitating the process of networking and the creation of artistic works; by bringing inspiring performances to audiences worldwide, ajusticenetwork is able to fulfill not only its mission, but more importantly the needs of recipient communities.
As a production company dedicated to encouraging the success of all it comes into contact with, ajusticenetwork is excited to watch this network grow, and to be a part of the healing social change that all our productions champion.
