Denise

Denise Rounsavelle, a Washington State native, stems from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds including French, Swedish, and German. Beginning her dance training at a young age, she has studied tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet and lyrical. After attending the University of Washington and joining the corporate world for several years, she decided it was time to revisit her childhood passion for dance, as well as the related fields of fitness and aerobics. She teaches dance fitness classes including Zumba and HiLo dance. Denise was a member of Passion Dance Company from 2009-2011, and then joined Splinter Dance Company in 2011, and The Bollywood Project in 2012. She also reaches out into the community through the Dance for Parkinson’s program affiliated with Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation, STG, and Spectrum Dance. Denise is able to integrate her training and passion for dance and fitness with the vitality and joy they bring through movement and expression in both the classroom and on stage.
