Auditions for MALE Dancers

Splinter is holding AUDITIONS for MALE company members!

Looking for dynamic male dancers and actors who are proficient at learning and performing various styles of dance.  Strengths in hip hop or breakdance, contemporary, or lyrical movement, and theater experience are encouraged.  A strong desire to use dance as a tool for bringing social awareness to the community also required.  Performances range from educational shows in schools across the U.S., to local corporate and private event entertainment and local community events.  Pay is on a per-show basis, and no fee is charged to be part of the Company.  Splinter is based in Seattle, WA.

Come on out to celebrate summer and the arts in our neighborhoods!

Splinter will be performing with The Splinter Project (our satellite group from Aspire Academy of Expressive Arts in Sequim, WA).

The girls of TSP will be DEBUTING their piece on Bullying!

Beacon Rocks is FREE and open to the public – ALL AGES!

When: Sunday, July 28th, 3pm
Where: Roberto Maestas Festival Street on Beacon Hill. Just next to the Light Rail Station and El Centro de la Raza

Splinter goes on at 3pm, but there is a full line-up of great entertainment starting at 1pm.

Mazel tov Greenspoons!

Splinter had a wonderful time working with the Greenspoon Family for
their daughter’s surprise Bat Mitzvah performance!  Thank you Holly,

Big Picture HS Mentee Graduates next month!

For the past couple years we’ve been mentoring Kimani, a student of the Big Picture School in Seattle.  For his final project, May 10th, 2013, Splinter Dance Co. will be performing a piece Kimani choreographed, taught and directed himself about Bullying.  We are soo proud of him for his accomplishments, and look forward to sending him off to College!  Congratulations Kimani on your Acceptance!
