Carolyn

As a young child, Carolyn Mull studied the flute, oboe, and piccolo, while also playing soccer and swimming competitively. She soon discovered that dance was a fusion of her two favorite things – music and movement. In her younger years she enjoyed studying ballet and jazz at local studios in Portland. In 1999, Carolyn and a group of other students started the Crescent Valley High School Radiance Dance Team, which is still active in Corvallis. While earning international business and marketing degrees at Oregon State University, she studied many different dance styles, including hip hop, modern, salsa, and belly dancing. After moving to Seattle for her professional career, Carolyn joined Passion Dance Company of Kirkland from 2008 to 2011, and then joined Splinter in 2011.
