GiveBIG Extended through midnight May 4th!

It’s true! Because Seattle broke the internet with our generosity during GiveBIG yesterday, Seattle Foundation has extended GiveBIG another day! You still have until midnight TONIGHT to add your $12 to ajusticenetwork and Splinter’s growing studio fund!

Things are back up and running smoothly today, so if you tried to get to our donation page yesterday and couldn’t, please visit our profile page and try again!  Thank you for your patience as Seattle Foundation and Kimbia restored their platform, and are making it possible to keep donating through midnight today, May 4th!

We are almost halfway to our goal of 2k – thank you immensely for your support and for helping us cover the cost of studio space for our next year!

Call for Artists – The Glossary: Perspectives Defined by Art

ajusticenetwork is excited to announce that we’ve been selected, for our second year, as one of STG’s Nights at The Neptune 2016 presenting artists! Our first year was a huge success, and not only were we the first evening-length dance production to hit the Neptune stage, we filled the house at 500 guests!

This year, we are sharing this opportunity with a select number of local artists and YOU could be one of them. Here’s how!
ajusticenetwork is summoning YOU, our local artists, to create inspiring, original work that defines aspects of one or more powerful words – concepts which have been chosen for their relevance to social healing. Splinter @ Moisture Festival – April 3rd, 2016

You have two chances to see Splinter at this year’s Moisture Festival – Comedy/Varietè – We’ll be performing THIS Sunday, April 3rd at Broadway Performance Hall – Two completely different shows!  We’d love to see you there!

Massive Monkees Studio; The Beacon – Student Showcase – Dec.13th, 2015

Massive Monkees Studio: The Beacon will be hosting our 2015 Showcase at Broadway Performance Hall this year!

The event will happen December 13th 2015 5:00-7:30PM and will showcase the talent of our outstanding students and the work of our team of amazing teaching artists.

Special guest performances will include Groove Clan, Extraordinary Futures Youth Program, MASSIVE MONKEES and of course the youth and adult students who have been preparing all quarter for the big day! Hope to have fun with you there!

11am-7pm

Lunch served from 1:00-2:30

Festivities begin at 11:00 with swimming, volleyball, soccer, croquet, and Bocce Ball.

Feel free to bring your own games, chairs, beach/sport equipment.

There is a sandy beach, swimming area, and play structure. If you have swimsuits, towels, and beach toys, we recommend bringing them along.

Lunch will be served from 1-2:30 (hot dogs, potato salad, watermelon, chips)

Lunch is included in the Gala ticket price. If you did not purchase a gala ticket, lunch will be $3 per person.  Please bring your own drinks and if you’d like, a side dish or fruit to share.  You may want to pack additional food for your group if you plan to stay till dusk.

Directions:

Heading South on I-405 take exit #9 to Newcastle.  Take a right off the exit. Take another right on Lake WA Blvd. Wind down to the water, vere right and the beach will be on your left.

Heading North on I-405. Take exit #9 to Newcastle. Take a left off the exit. Take a right on Lake WA Blvd. Wind down to the water, vere right and the beach will be on your left.
