Join Splinter Dance Company as we present an evening of new and existing works that will serve to inspire complicated discussions around issues of social justice and our humanity.
360:1 – if not NOW, when? is about moving out of our comfort zone in order to understand and empathize with the reality of our entire human family; it’s about how our personal thoughts, actions, and perceptions affect the greater whole and acknowledging that true change is the result of our temporary discomfort.
This performance deals with teen and adult subject matters that will inspire questions and discussion. Please use your discretion with bringing children, and note trigger warnings in the evening program.
MONDAY, JUNE 24TH, 7:30-9:30PM @ The Massive Monkees Studio: The Beacon

Global Water Dances 2019 Saturday, June 15th / 3-4:30 PM Lake Union Park 860 Terry Ave N, Seattle FREE + open to the public
Please join us for Global Water Dances 2019! We’re thrilled to be part of this international event, during which communities around the world will “dance for safe water everywhere.” As host of the Seattle Global Water Dances, KSD will present a version of Sea Change Within Us, also joined by Community Dancers who’ll take part in a movement choir moving through Lake Union Park.

This worldwide event, linked throughout the day via broadcast and social media, will challenge countless observers, locally and online, to deepen their understanding about the importance of water in communities the world over.
We are very excited to announce that we’re embarking on a campaign to raise funds to produce an evening-length work this coming Fall 2019!
In lieu of our annual participation in GiveBig, Splinter Dance Company is focusing our energies on producing an evening-length show, which will include NEW, socially impactful, and exciting work! Our passion lies in confronting social issues though dance and theater as a way to promote lasting change and healing.
Welcome to Moisture Festival! Presented as a variety show, each act or artist performs their routine within a 3-15 minute time slot while being accompanied by a live show band. Part of the joy of the Festival is that you never know what you’ll see on stage. From aerialists to jugglers, magicians to comedians, all the weird and wonderful keep this genre fresh and exciting
