It’s here! ajusticenetwork and Splinter Dance invite you to participate in our annual fundraising campaign. We value your support year-after-year and encourage you to get involved today to help us grow and continue our work in the community! If you’ve thought about giving in the past, this is your opportunity to jump in, big or small.
We are passionate about the work that we do in the community and we know you are too. Tackling social issues and encouraging discourse and healing through the performing arts, we provide opportunities for dancers and audience members to get inspired and get involved.
BUT WE CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!
Your financial gift to ajusticenetwork and Splinter Dance is an opportunity to become part of the solution. Operating costs and rehearsal space are our biggest expenses, and our goal beyond the bare necessities this year, is to raise funds to self-produce an evening length performance! We have tons of new ideas and work to share, and need your help to get it to the stage. We’d love to keep ticket prices low to make it widely accessible, so we’re setting our goal for this year’s GiveBIG at 5k!
Join us in making it happen – every little bit counts BIG!
Splinter had a wonderful morning as part of the University Child Development Center’s Year-End Celebration! Wrapping up a year themed, “Reach,” Splinter presented a cross-cultural dance – part Bollywood, part Hip Hop, and a short class to teach the kids some moves! Thank you for inviting us – we had a great time!
Connect with us on April 14th as Splinter joins dancers from all over the Seattle area to dance for the health of our waterways! Presented by Karin Stevens Dance, this is a live-streamed, site-specific performance piece for National Water Dance Day – see below for more details!
Karin Stevens Dance presents Sea Change Within Us: Moving Beyond Our Failures Towards Water as Life
KSD joins over 100 dance institutions from more than four countries and 40 states in this site-specific simultaneous event. The performance will be streamed across inter/national stages through Facebook and YouTube as an integral part of National Water Dance Day LIVE
National Water Dance Day is an opportunity for dancers of all ages and movers of all kinds to experience the power of art and performance as a vehicle for social change by collaborating on the formation of a nation wide movement choir. The goal is to initiate a national “water ethic” that can inform and inspire both participants and audience members to take responsibility for conserving and protecting the water that they use and enjoy.
